During TruLab’s webinar “Patient Burden in Clinical Trials: Ethics of Biospecimen Management,” Jim sat down with a patient who unfortunately walked away from his participation in a clinical trial feeling “not taken care of” and “dehumanized” by the process.

One of the main culprits? Protocol deviations that led to significant additional burden.

“Sponsors can no longer afford to not do their utmost to minimize protocol deviations that harm the patient-centricity of their studies,” Jim writes.
