Durham, N.C. – TruLab proudly announces the appointment of Sims Preston, JD, MBA, as its new vice president of strategy. Sims brings over two decades of executive leadership and legal expertise in healthcare information technology, making him uniquely suited to drive TruLab’s strategic initiatives forward.

As a member of TruLab’s advisory board for the two years prior to taking on this new role, Sims is well versed in TruLab’s commitment to revolutionizing the clinical trial ecosystem. In addition to likewise serving in an advisory capacity for the healthcare tech firms Impathiq and Ahana Pediatrics (later Vyne Medical), Sims also served as the CEO of Polyglot Systems, Inc., where he helped the company establish itself as a key player in providing simplified patient medication instructions for healthcare facilities across the US and Canada.

Prior to joining Polyglot, Sims spent 14 years as a lawyer, both in private practice and as in-house counsel for some of the world’s most dynamic and innovative health technology companies, including Quintiles (now IQVIA) and Nuance Communications.
