Dan Ballard is the senior vice president of digital enablement and innovation at Parexel, a global clinical research organization operating in more than 80 countries. With over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, Dan is passionate about leveraging digital data assets to drive industry transformation.
Before joining Parexel, he served as executive director of global data strategy at Labcorp Drug Development, leading digital, data, platform, and architecture teams. He also held leadership roles at IQVIA, overseeing enterprise data governance and clinical informatics.
Dan earned a B.S. in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than 11 years. He later received an MBA with a concentration in operations from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
