Dr. Bimal Shah is a nationally recognized cardiologist and healthcare executive with nearly two decades of experience in clinical trial research, health technology, and advanced analytics. Currently a venture partner at RA Ventures, the venture-focused arm of biotechnology and life sciences investment firm RA Capital, Dr. Shah previously co-founded and served as COO of Homeward, a technology-enabled healthcare provider enhancing rural America’s access to care. Prior to Homeward, he served as the chief medical officer of the digital chronic condition management company Livongo, a role he continued following the company’s merger with virtual healthcare giant Teledoc Health.
Dr. Shah continues to serve as an assistant professor in Duke University’s Department of Medicine and on the board of directors for Floreo, a virtual therapy company. He also advises numerous early-stage health services and health technology firms.
